Wonder Squad sheet 1

 

and I suddenly had this urge to put the toon squad in an Alice in Wonderland setting. With identities and all.


Cuphead & Mugman - In the place of Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the two run off a lot and frequently get themselves into trouble. The two ended up biting more than they could chew at one point and had to repay a debt to the Queen of Hearts, or lose their heads. Deciding to repay the debt, they worked under her for a few years until it was paid off. But when it was finally paid off the Queen of Hearts couldn't bare to let them go, finding them too useful. The two ran away and escaped the bloody red queen, but she then sent the Jabberwocky off to find the two. The two have been running ever since, unable to return home. 

Mickey & Oswald - In the place of the Mad Hatter and the Mad March Hare, there are always tea parties. But life for them isn't always full of joyful unbirthday parties and sing-a-longs. Behind the smiling faces and ravens and writing desks, the two share their own sets of problems caused by the Queen of Hearts. In another time the Hatter was friends with a previous Alice, but he unfortunately lost her to the insanity that weighed down on the poor girl, and never was the same. Blaming himself, he tries to drown out the thoughts in endless tea parties and distract himself from the loss of his companion. But slowly it's still dragging him to his own form of madness. 
    The March Hare on the other hand was the White Queen's lover at one point, and destined to be married to her. Due to the Queen of Heart's jealously towards the White Queen and all that she had, she ousted the March Hare out of the kingdom and kept him exiled, or death would be his fate. Unable to return to his precious queen, he sits with Mick at the table and hopes for an opportunity to lead him back to his girl. He may be going mad in anxious waiting, but he's generally very calm, though he may say a thing or two to turn heads. During the month of March, however, he can barely keep in his irrational mood swings and his love for his queen over takes him as he tries to attempt to cross kingdoms to reach her. If not for Hatter to hold him back, he probably would've lost his head by now. 

Minnie - Her full name Alice "Minerva" Mouse, she prefers to call herself Minnie. Her mother's name was once Alice, but after her passing she refused to be called by that anymore. She wanders into Wonderland and unknowingly was given the title of "The Creator and Destroyer of Wonderland". By stepping foot into Wonderland, she became destined to either save or destroy what is left of Wonderland. Or fall within the madness of her own mind. 

 Ortensia - She is the White Queen of the neighboring kingdom and treats all her subjects with kindness and humility. With death against her morals she tries to find reasonable punishments for those who commit crimes, and rules with a fair and just hand. She was betrothed to the March Hare but due to the Red Queen's jealousy she kept him from ever returning in her attempt to weigh down her rule on the kingdom. Battling depression, fear, and the oncoming insanity from her subjects she struggles to keep a clear mind, but always holds to hope that the next Alice will help save the kingdom.

 Bendy - The White-er, Black Rabbit that lured Alice in from the very start. How? Being a demon who controls ink, he gain a small ability to shape shift, but is unable to hold his desired form for a very long time. But all he had to do was turn into a rabbit long enough to lure an Alice in and he'll be on his way. He works sort of like an adviser to the the Queen of Hearts, but due to the toll of death that she enforced he realized that he couldn't keep working in a kingdom like this, especially since it was really weighing down on his best friend, Boris. While no one suspected him, he snuck out of the kingdom and temporarily left to find the next Alice, but his time to do so was limited. Otherwise, the Queen would notice....

Alice Angel - The Queen of Hearts, but wasn't always. She was once another Alice who fell into Wonderland, but relished the attention a little too much. She slowly became a power hungry tyrant and was jealous of anyone who had something she didn't. If they didn't agree with her, she'd quickly enforce punishment, mostly to the extreme of cutting off heads. She plans to expand her kingdom and take over the White Queen's kingdom. With the Jabberwocky on her side, there seems to be nothing that can stop her....except maybe another Alice. 

Boris the Wolf - He is the King of Hearts, but only acts as a figure head to the kingdom. There's not much he can do without the Queen threatening to murder someone so he shyly and guiltily stays out of most affairs except for showings and regal gatherings. Sometimes he tries to show a little kindness and secretly sends money out for the subjects who need it the most, but other than that he is a powerless king.
